Well, I have never thought of myself as someone who is great in corresponding with people :) We have been in Ecuador for over 2 years now, and all the while, I have be awful at being consistent in updates and such. So, we'll give this a go... Hopefully this will help you see our lives more clearly and more often :)

- Josh and Joy's Journey
- Josh and Joy are overseas missionaries, living in Quito, Ecuador. We serve at the Alliance Academy International, which until recent years has been a school for missionaries' children. It is now under the Ecuadoran Ministry of Education, so it is open to any student who would like to attend. This provides an incredible opportunity to daily share the love of Christ with kids and their parents. Josh is the IT Coordinator, which means he is in charge of anything that has to do with computers and networks at the school. He is the only full-time IT guy there, so it can be pretty intense. Joy works in the Skills Center, a division of the school that was created to meet the increasing special education needs . She works in the Guided Resource Center, and is a case manager for many of the GRC kids. We are also the Class of 2012 Sponsors. We love our class dearly, and enjoy prayer breakfasts and just hanging out with them :) We are both coaches in the same sports season - Josh in JV Basketball and Joy in Varsity Soccer. Our passion is teenagers. We recognize the intense difficulty of this life stage, and are eager to do all we can to keep pointing these kids to Christ!
